Namaste, Dearest Friend

A letter I sent this morning:

Dearest Friends and Family,

Our beloved Boxer, Bucket, passed away last night. She had been very ill for a couple of weeks so her parting is all the more bittersweet; she never complained and remained affectionate and sweet. My husband and eldest son took her to the Jersey Shore with them on Tuesday and it was there that she passed away.

We were very lucky to have shared 10+ years with such a Noble Soul. There was no better Boxer on God's Green Earth; she was gentle, devoted, patient, protective and brave.

We will all miss her very much.

PS Champ is doing his "tear licking duty" as I write... this is why families get Boxers in pairs. XO
