These are the musings of a frustrated Artist who has decided to embrace obstacles rather than ramming into them. You won't find "lemonade" here but more likely Life's lemons have been made into a sculpture, a photograph, a short story or even just eaten straight. So, pucker up Folks. Who knows? Someone might even kiss you.

I always wanted to have the skill to paint (not necessarily myself) and Photoshop has allowed me to come closer to at least achieving a "painterly" style that I like.
This image (and another on the blog that looks similar) were created with 2 images: the background is Fairmount Park in Philly and the other is from a series of self-portraits done in my studio space on Long Beach Island, NJ -dmc
